They are not so many, but without you will not be possible.

Covers and Postcards from Faroe Islands III

Carta, com valor declarado de 100 DKK, enviada de Tórshavn, em 30.01.1980, para Bagsvaerd – Copenhaga.

A etiqueta em côr verde contém o seguinte texto:

Correcção da Alfândega
A remessa pode ser libertada sem direitos aduaneiros e de impostos.

Alfândega dos Correios

Na parte de trás do envelope são visíveis dois selos em lacre, com as armas dos correios das Ilhas Faroé.

Dois dos selos são da primeira emissão base das Ilhas Faroé, datada de 30.01.1975.
O terceiro selo é da emissão ‘150 Years National Library’ emitida em 07.12.1978.

On the back of the envelope are visible two wax seals with Faroese Post Office emblem.

Two of the stamps are the first definitive issue of the Faroe Islands, dated 30.01.1975.The third stamp is from the ‘150 Years National Library’ issue (07.12.1978).

350 oyru - Viðoy and Svínoy (Eyvindur Mohr (1926-2005) from Tórshavn, Faroe Islands was a Faroese painter).
180 oyru - The new National Library. Architect:
Jákup Pauli Gregoriussen (1932), Faroese architect, graphical artist and author.
