Os Mundos Mágicos de Elinborg Lützen / Magical Worlds of Elinborg Lützen

Emissão comemorativa dedicada à obra da artista Elinborg Lützen (1919 - 1995).
Elinborg Lützen foi uma artista gráfica faroense, nascida em Klaksvík, em 1919. Toda a sua obra, se centrou na ilustração de grandes contos e lendas, do estreito limiar entre a luz e a escuridão, entre o anoitecer e o amanhecer. Nos mundos mágicos de Elinborg Lützen, os duendes, as fadas e as princesas, apenas visíveis para além do horizonte das sombras, são sempre representadas a um simples, sem ser monótono, branco e negro. Alguns, dos seus muitos trabalhos, encontram-se expostos no The Faroe Islands 'National' Art Museum.

Commemorative stamps dedicated to the work of artist

Elinborg Lützen (1919 to 1995). Faroese Elinborg Lützen was a graphic artist, born in Klaksvík, in 1919. All his work, focused on the illustration of great tales and legends, about the narrow threshold between light and darkness, between dusk and dawn. In the magical worlds of Elinborg Lützen, the elves, the fairies and princesses, just visible beyond the horizon of the shadows, are always represented a simple, without being monotonous, white and black. Some of his many works, are set out in The Faroe Islands 'National' Art Museum.
