Ontem 23 de Fevereiro de 2009, foram emitidas as duas primeiras séries de selos das Ilhas Faroe:
Os Músicos Perdidos – emissão dedicada a homenagear o escritor faroês Andreas William Heinessen (15 Janeiro 1900 – 12 Março 1991) – ver post anterior aqui.
Aquecimento Global – emissão conjunta com 35 outros países, integrada nas comemorações do Ano Polar Internacional 2007-2009, sobre o tema da necessidade de Preservar as Regiões Polares e os Glaciares.

Yesterday 23 February 2009, were issued the first two series of stamps of the Faroe Islands:
The Lost Musicians - issue dedicated to honor the Faroese writer William Andreas Heinessen (15 January 1900 to 12 March 1991) - see previous post here.
Global Warming - issued jointly with 35 other countries, integrated in the commemorations of the International Polar Year 2007-2009, focusing on the need to preserve the Polar Regions and Glaciers. (More information available on the official site at: Global Warming)
