Vultos da Cultura I / Cultural Personalities I

Emissão comemorativa dedicada a personalidades da Cultura das Ilhas Faroé.

A folha miniatura com seis selos de 550 oyru foi emitida em 19.05.2008.

Mads C. Winther (1822 – 1892) - Advogado, Político e Jornalista.


Súsanna Helena Patursson (1864 - 1916) - Escritora e Poetisa, escreveu a primeira comédia faroesa chamada “Veðurføst” (1889).

Rasmus C. Effersøe (1857 – 1916) - Agrónomo, foi um dos históricos do Christmas Meeting em 1888. Durante a sua vida escreveu várias peças de teatro, poemas e canções patrióticas.

Jógvan Poulsen (1854 – 1941) - Professor e Político. Em 1900 publicou a “Bíbliusøga” (história da Bíblia), um marco na literatura das Ilhas Faroé.

Fríðrikur Petersen (1853 – 1917) - Teólogo, escreveu a canção patriótica “Eg oyggjar veit” em 1877 e publicada pela primeira vez em 1892, em Copenhaga.

Andreas Christian Evensen (1874 – 1917) - Teólogo, Pastor e Político. Em 1899 publicou o livro de canções “Smásangir og sálmar”.

Susanna Helena Patursson (1864 to 1916) - Writer, wrote the first Faroese comedy called "Veðurføst" (1889).
